With atmospheric guitars, and powerhouse lyrics-driven vocals, Orlando-based quintet MAKARI have been carving out their own space in the music world. With their second full- length album “Wave Machine" now out, the band finds themselves further honing their craft and delivering an experience to listeners that allows them to both become adrift on a sonic sea of digital delay and delicate guitar work, as well as be thrashed about by driving rhythms and impassioned vocals. The album traverses topics ranging from climate change and depression, to the euphoria of romantic love and the disillusionment of the human experience. Most recently the band has had hugely successful tours with Hail The Sun and Intervals, as well as an album release tour that featured numerous sold out shows. The band is currently working on new material, and plans to tour extensively, making waves along the way, and fans desperate for more in their wake.
