Save Ferris

Led by the indomitable Monique Powell, Save Ferris first burst onto the SoCal scene in the mid-’90s with their infectious fusion of ska, punk, and pop. Their debut album It Means Everything—released via Epic/Sony Records—went platinum, cementing their place among the defining acts of the third-wave ska movement. The band’s fearless reimagining of Come On Eileen became an instant classic, while their three alternative radio singles all charted on the Billboard Hot 100, with two breaking into the Billboard Top 40.

Save Ferris has gone on to tour the world—from Indonesia to Slovenia—playing thousands of shows for millions of fans over the past three decades. Known for their explosive horn sections, driving guitars, and Powell’s unmistakable vocals, the band has remained one of ska’s most enduring and influential voices.

Now celebrating nearly 30 years of global touring and musical resilience, Save Ferris continue to push forward with new releases and a renewed creative spark. The Happy Skalidaze Tour arrives as the band readies a new 7” release featuring “Get Dancing” and “Ooh Ooh Rudi”—the second installment in their limited-edition vinyl series—and a new music video debuting next month.

“The holidays are all about joy, connection, and dancing your heart out,” says Powell. “That’s what we want every show on this tour to feel like—a big, ska-punk family reunion with extra tinsel and horns.”
